Odoo and WhatsApp Business integration
Odoo is a modular ERP used by many businesses in Morocco and the Gulf for sales, invoicing and inventory. trtWhats links Odoo's Sales, Invoicing and Inventory modules to WhatsApp, so the customer receives their quote, invoice and delivery notice from the same system that produces them, with no re-typing.

What syncs
Quotations sent on WhatsApp
When a quotation is confirmed in the Sales module, the PDF goes out with a template message stating the quote number, amount and validity date.
Invoice as soon as it is posted
When an invoice is posted in the Invoicing module, a PDF copy is sent automatically. In Morocco, DGI-aligned e-invoicing is supported; in Saudi Arabia, ZATCA phase-2 requirements.
Overdue reminders
For unpaid invoices, scheduled reminders go out before and after the due date, with the Odoo payment link if you use one.
Delivery notices from Inventory
When a delivery order is validated in the Inventory module, the customer is told their order is on its way, with the list of items.
Conversation history on the partner record
WhatsApp messages are logged in the contact's (partner's) chatter in Odoo, giving sales an immediate view of the last exchange.
Leads created from WhatsApp
Any new conversation from an unknown number can create a lead in Odoo's CRM module, with a link to the conversation.
Setup steps

Install the trtWhats module in Odoo
Download the module from your trtWhats dashboard and install it on your Odoo instance (self-hosted or online). Administrator rights are needed to install modules.

Enter the connection settings
In the module configuration, paste the API key from your trtWhats account and set the WhatsApp number used for sending.

Select documents and events
Enable what you need: order confirmation, invoice posting, payment registration, delivery validation. Attach an approved template to each event.

Map Odoo fields to template variables
Specify which Odoo field fills each template variable (customer name, document number, total amount, due date).

Test on an internal partner
Create a partner with your team's number, confirm a test quotation and post a test invoice to check messages and attachments.
