WhatsApp for your online store

In Morocco and the Gulf, much of e-commerce runs on cash on delivery and WhatsApp chats. trtWhats connects your store to WhatsApp to confirm orders, recover carts and cut fake orders.

What your customer receives

Hello {customer_name}, to confirm your order {order_id} from {store_name} for {amount} MAD, cash on delivery, reply 'YES'. To change or cancel, reply 'CHANGE'. Thank you for your trust.

The automation flow for this sector

  1. 1

    Order confirmation

As soon as an order is placed, the customer gets a utility template with the order number, amount and payment method.

  2. 2

    Shipping and tracking

When the parcel ships, they receive the tracking number, carrier and expected slot, cutting 'where is my order' calls.

  3. 3

    Cash-on-delivery confirmation

Before shipping, a message asks the customer to confirm the order with one tap, filtering out fake orders.

  4. 4

    Abandoned-cart recovery

After a left cart, a marketing reminder to opted-in customers, with a link back to complete the purchase.

  5. 5

    Electronic invoice

After payment, a PDF invoice in the formats required by DGI in Morocco or ZATCA in Saudi Arabia.

What it fixes

  • Fake cash-on-delivery orders

A confirmation message before shipping asks for the customer's one-tap approval, cutting parcels refused at the door and return costs.

  • Full carts, no checkout

Most visitors leave before paying. A WhatsApp reminder to opted-in customers brings some back, with open rates above email.

  • 'Where is my order' floods support

Automatic confirmation, shipping and tracking arrive before the customer asks, so your team handles real questions, not parcel tracking.

  • Late manual invoicing

trtWhats generates a PDF invoice per order in DGI- and ZATCA-required formats and sends it the moment payment clears, with no manual work.

In Morocco and the Gulf, a large share of e-commerce runs on cash on delivery and WhatsApp conversations, not on card payments alone. That reality creates two well-known costs: fake orders that the recipient refuses at the door, leaving the store to absorb shipping and return fees, and full carts whose owners leave before paying. trtWhats tackles both in one flow: it connects your Salla, Zid, WooCommerce or Shopify store (or your own system via the REST API and webhooks), confirms every order, sends the parcel tracking link, and asks the customer to confirm a cash-on-delivery order with one tap before you take on the cost of sending it.

Order confirmation, shipping and tracking are utility templates in Meta's system, because they inform about a transaction in progress; they cost less than marketing and stay free inside the open 24-hour window until 30 September 2026, before being billed at the market's utility rate from 1 October 2026. Abandoned-cart recovery, on the other hand, is a marketing message, so Meta requires explicit prior opt-in naming your store and WhatsApp before it is sent. A checkbox at checkout or account creation is the usual approach, and trtWhats keeps consent status per contact so a campaign only ever reaches those who agreed. Marketing template wording is checked before submission to Meta to avoid rejection: a sample value per variable, no shortened URLs, and no variable at the start or end of the text.

After payment, trtWhats generates a PDF invoice for each order in the formats required by Morocco's Direction Générale des Impôts electronic-invoicing regime (DGI e-facture) and by Saudi Arabia's ZATCA phase-2 integration, as XML/PDF-A3 with a QR code — we align with the formats each regime requires, without claiming any official certification. All of these messages go out from one number on Meta's official Cloud API; replies land in the shared inbox with tags and assignment, while the AI chatbot answers size, stock and return questions from your knowledge base. Platform-side conversations are unlimited on every plan, and you pay Meta's per-message fee directly to Meta, with no markup from trtWhats.

Getting started is quick: once your documents are ready, the number is usually live in 24 to 72 hours, and Meta's business verification takes one to five working days. Choose the plan by volume — Growth adds cart recovery, Salla and Zid, HubSpot, and the REST API and webhooks, while Pro and above add Odoo and extra numbers. Sending limits per number step up as your quality rating stays healthy, from 250 unique users a day to 1K, 10K, 100K and beyond, which matters once broadcasts scale. The AI confirms cash-on-delivery orders in Darija when the buyer writes in Darija, and in Arabic, French or English by their language. The verified badge cannot be bought either; Meta alone grants it.

Sector questions

Before shipping, trtWhats sends a utility template asking the customer to confirm their order with one tap. Unconfirmed orders are not shipped, so parcels refused at the door and return costs fall, and the quality of your order list improves.
